Toyota’s 2026 bZ Starts at $36,350 With Big Range Gains Above the Base

The reworked lineup cuts the base cost by shrinking the entry battery, creating headroom for longer‑range, higher‑power trims.

Overview

  • The base XLE FWD is priced at $36,350 including destination and uses a 57.5 kWh pack for an EPA‑estimated 236 miles and 168 hp.
  • All other trims move to a 74.7 kWh battery, with the XLE FWD Plus rated up to 314 miles and the Limited FWD at 299 miles.
  • The XLE AWD jumps to a combined 338 hp and an estimated 288 miles, while the Limited AWD is rated at 278 miles.
  • Every 2026 bZ ships with a factory NACS port and faster 11 kW AC charging, though DC fast‑charging remains capped at 150 kW.
  • U.S. deliveries are expected in the second half of 2025, alongside refreshed styling, a redesigned cabin, and a standard 14‑inch infotainment screen.
