Overview

• Toyota has confirmed the sixth-generation RAV4 will launch in early 2026, offering four electrified powertrains—two plug-in hybrids and two full hybrids—but no fully electric variant.
• The plug-in hybrid models feature a 23 kWh battery with a WLTP electric range of 100 km, supporting 50 kW DC fast charging and 11 kW AC charging.
• The new Arene software platform transforms the RAV4 into a software-defined vehicle, enabling over-the-air updates, Google-based navigation, customizable menus, and app-controlled remote functions.
• Toyota Safety Sense has been upgraded with new features, including cross-traffic alerts, automatic lane-change assist, rear approach warnings, app-based parking, and a 360° 3D camera.
• The exterior design evolves with a more angular front, V-shaped headlights, and puffed wheel arches, while the interior boasts a fully digital cockpit with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and 12.9-inch touchscreen.
