Overview
- The TR010 Hybrid is an evolution of the GR010 with a heavily reworked front end, revised sidepods and a new rear wing, plus headlamps reflecting current Toyota road-car design.
- A new predominantly red livery replaces the recent black scheme, echoing last year’s GT-One tribute look on the #7 at Le Mans.
- Toyota’s Cologne operation is renamed Toyota Racing GmbH and WEC entries will run as Toyota Racing, while the Gazoo Racing brand continues in rallying and customer programs that Cologne will still support.
- Initial tests were completed at Paul Ricard in October and at Lusail in December, with additional running planned at Paul Ricard this month and Motorland Aragon in February before a Qatar 1812km debut on March 28.
