Toyota, Daihatsu Launch Electric Kei Vans in Japan After Delays

A joint program with Suzuki delivers shared EV hardware to keep full payload capacity.

  • Charging reaches about 80% in 50 minutes on a 50 kW DC unit, takes roughly six hours at 6 kW AC, and includes 1,500 W external power plus Vehicle-to-Home capability as standard.
