- The Great Toy Rescue map went live Sept. 22 and runs through Oct. 5, 2026, and players can open it in Fortnite using island code 6059-3243-8283.
- Players explore a persistent hub set in Bonnie’s imagination and complete missions on multiple creator-made islands to find and return six missing toys: Woody, Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Hamm, and Forky.
- Gameplay tasks include shooting targets, collecting themed items and memories, and finishing objectives that unlock character abilities and progression rewards tied to XP and the Battle Pass.
- Finding all six toys grants traversal upgrades such as a jetpack and other abilities, and outlets including Polygon published shortcut unlock codes for each character to speed access in the map.
- The activation is notable as the first Disney‑Pixar adventure spread across multiple creator islands and is designed as a short-term cross-promotion to drive player engagement around Toy Story 5’s Disney+ debut.
