Tottenham Sign Chelsea's Maika Hamano on Loan for Rest of Season

Tottenham confirmed on Jan. 4 that Maika Hamano has joined on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old is seeking regular game time after limited minutes at Chelsea, where she has 45 appearances including seven this season.
Hamano joined Chelsea from INAC Kobe Leonessa in January 2023 and spent that spring on loan at Hammarby in Sweden.
A versatile attacker who is often used as a winger for Japan, she has 26 caps and six international goals.
She becomes Spurs’ fourth January addition, following Matilda Nilden, Hanna Wijk and Signe Gaupset, as the club refreshes its squad.
