Overview
- Consorcio Trecca S.A.C. signed a contract with HV Salfacorp to start transformation works on Torre Trecca, a move that advanced the project into execution after years of paralysis.
- The contract signing took place on Tuesday, Sept. 8, following Adenda N.° 2 agreed in February 2026 that officials say resolved technical, contractual and financial blockages that had stalled the project for more than 15 years.
- Planned works cover 59,140 m2 across 26 levels, and will equip the complex with over 145 consultorios and about 300 biomedical devices, including three MRIs, four CT scanners and five mammography units to serve 20+ specialties.
- Reporting cites a rise in the project’s investment from roughly S/161 million in 2010 to more than S/486 million in 2026 (without IGV), a gap that exceeds inflation adjustments and has prompted demands for detail on contract changes and added components.
- PROINVERSIÓN and EsSalud say the facility will double outpatient capacity and relieve Rebagliati, Almenara and Sabogal networks, but officials including MEF and EsSalud must clarify the full cost EsSalud will face from operation, maintenance and financing over the concession term.
