Overview

  • Toronto police’s Project Yankee led to the arrest of 20 suspects on 111 charges, including more than 50 counts of conspiracy to commit murder.
  • Police allege The Union used shootings, arson and intimidation to seize control of the multi-million-dollar towing industry.
  • Law enforcement executed 14 search warrants, seizing firearms, three bulletproof Cadillacs and other weapons linked to tow truck operations.
