Toronto Inmate Charged with Manslaughter in Jail Assault

A 54-year-old man faces a manslaughter charge following the death of fellow inmate Euplio Cusano at Toronto South Detention Centre.

The incident occurred on Thursday at the Toronto South Detention Centre, where 69-year-old Euplio Cusano was assaulted.
Cusano was taken to the hospital with injuries and died the following day, according to Toronto police.
Ivan Ademovic, aged 54, has been charged with manslaughter in connection with Cusano's death.
Ademovic is scheduled to make his court appearance on Monday morning.
