Overview
- On July 15 at around 6:45 p.m., patrol officers found 72-year-old Terry Keller deceased in a vehicle parked near the Central Park Community Center on Southwest Clay Street.
- Assistant Chief Michael Cross announced on July 16 that the case has been upgraded from a suspicious death to Topeka’s tenth homicide of the year.
- A surveillance camera image of a person of interest walking near the community center was released to assist with identification efforts.
- No arrests have been made and the cause of Keller’s death has not been disclosed as investigators continue collecting evidence.
