Trainer Todd Pletcher has been suspended for 10 days and fined for a positive drug test involving Forte.
Forte was disqualified after winning the Hopeful Stakes in 2022 for testing positive for meloxicam.
Pletcher plans to appeal and a stay of the suspension has been granted, allowing him to work.
Forte was scratched from the Kentucky Derby last weekend due to a bruised right front foot.
Pletcher has won his eighth career Eclipse as the nation's top trainer.
