Top QB Prospect Jared Curtis Reopens Recruitment, Leaves Georgia

Jared Curtis, the nation's leading quarterback for the Class of 2026, has decommitted from Georgia to explore other opportunities.

Jared Curtis, a five-star quarterback from Nashville Christian School, announced his decision to decommit from Georgia on Thursday.
Curtis initially committed to Georgia in March, choosing the Bulldogs over other top programs like Ohio State, Texas, Alabama, and Oklahoma.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback in the 2026 class by ESPN and 247Sports Composite.
Despite decommitting, Curtis stated that he still holds Georgia in high regard and they remain a contender in his recruitment process.
His decision leaves Georgia with only two commitments for their 2026 class, both being four-star cornerbacks.
