• Julien’s in Los Angeles sold the Birdhouse Falcon 2 board Hawk rode for the first landed 900 at the 1999 X Games for $1,152,000.
• The same board was also used for Hawk’s 1999 Vert Doubles gold and was ridden again at the 2025 X Games.
• Other items from the “900 Collection” drew strong bids, including his helmet ($115,200), sneakers ($64,000), knee pads ($57,600) and signed credential passes ($7,680).
• The result exceeded Julien’s $500,000–$700,000 estimate, and the auction house has not disclosed the buyer.
• Two early 1982 Powell-Peralta decks realized $108,800 combined, including Hawk’s first pro board at $57,600 and a fire-scarred deck at $51,200 that had been recovered after being presumed lost.
