The golfer clarified that he is focused on recovering and plans to return for the PGA Tour's season-opening Sentry Tournament of Champions in January 2025 in Maui, Hawai'i.
Finau's wife, Alayna, also dismissed the rumors in a TikTok video, emphasizing that the speculation was baseless.
Despite the surgery, Finau remains optimistic about his health and is considering participating in next week's Grant Thornton Invitational, a mixed-team event where he is paired with LPGA star Nelly Korda.
