- The debut solo album Genauso war’s is set for release on Friday, 19 September 2025.
- Krahl assembled a new backing band called the KINX from Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg, named after a City song.
- A Germany tour is scheduled to begin on 22 November in Freiberg, where he plans to perform many City songs, saying, “Ich habe Sehnsucht nach diesen Liedern.”
- He describes the album as deeply personal and melancholic, addressing the deaths of close companions and the day after City’s final concert, including the lyric “Ohne Angst gibt es kein Hoffen. Immer steht ein Ausgang offen.”
- The record contains 17 new tracks including Am Morgen danach, and follows City’s December 2022 farewell after a career that began in East Berlin in 1972.
