Tommy Robinson Faces New Contempt of Court Charges

The far-right activist is accused of breaching a High Court injunction by repeating libellous claims about a Syrian refugee.

Robinson allegedly violated a 2021 court order through six actions between June and July 2023.
The breaches are related to a libel case won by Syrian refugee Jamal Hijazi in 2021.
A hearing for the new charges is scheduled for October 28.
Robinson previously fled the country, complicating earlier contempt proceedings.
He was arrested under terrorism legislation after a protest in London.
