• Ray & Mascari Inc. recalled 4-count Vine Ripe Tomatoes sold in clamshell containers through Gordon Food Service stores in 11 states, including Illinois, Michigan, and New York.
• Williams Farms Repack LLC issued a separate recall for tomatoes distributed to wholesalers in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina between April 23 and 28, 2025.
• Consumers are advised to discard or return the affected products for a refund, with no illnesses reported to date from either recall.
• Salmonella infection can cause serious health risks, particularly for young children, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals, with symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.
