Tomas Oral Appointed Head Coach of GC Zürich

The former Ingolstadt coach returns to management with a contract for the remainder of the season.

Tomas Oral, 51, has been named head coach of GC Zürich, the bottom team in Switzerland's Super League.
Oral's last coaching role was with SV Sandhausen in the 2022/23 season, where he did not secure a win in six matches.
He is joined by Michael Henke, a seasoned assistant coach with experience at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
Oral has previously coached teams including FC Ingolstadt, Karlsruher SC, RB Leipzig, and Fulham.
Oral expressed enthusiasm for the new role, citing confidence in the potential of the team and club.
