• Harlan Boll announced that Troupe passed away Sunday morning at his Beverly Hills residence.
• He is survived by his son Christopher Troupe, daughter-in-law Becky Coulter, granddaughter Ashley Troupe and a circle of nieces and nephews.
• A Korean War veteran, Troupe earned a Bronze Star before moving to New York to study at the Herbert Berghof Studio under Uta Hagen.
• He made his Broadway debut in 1957 as Peter van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank and later co-founded The Faculty acting school in Los Angeles.
• Over six decades, Troupe appeared in more than 75 television series—including Star Trek, Mission: Impossible and Cheers—alongside roles in films such as My Own Private Idaho and numerous stage productions.
