  • Tom Rogers, the first president of NBC Cable and longest-serving CEO of TiVo, has joined Versant as senior advisor to counsel its leadership on industry trends, competitive dynamics and growth strategy.
  • Versant will include USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and the Golf Channel alongside digital platforms Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass and SportsEngine.
  • The company established a full nine-member board on July 24 and has filled senior roles in finance, content, distribution and operations ahead of its public debut.
  • The spin-off of Versant from Comcast will be tax-free to shareholders.
  • Versant is finalizing its governance framework and remains on track to separate and list as a publicly traded company by late 2025.
