Tom Holland to Star and Produce in John Grisham's 'The Partner' Adaptation

The legal thriller, based on Grisham's 1997 bestseller, will be written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Graham Moore for Universal Pictures.

Tom Holland will play Patrick Lanigan, a junior lawyer who steals $90 million, fakes his own death, and flees to Brazil before facing legal and personal consequences.
Holland will also serve as a producer on the project through his production company Billy17, alongside Rideback Productions.
The screenplay is being adapted by Graham Moore, known for his Oscar-winning work on 'The Imitation Game.'
This marks the first big-screen adaptation of a John Grisham novel since 2004's 'Christmas With the Kranks.'
Production timelines are unclear as Holland is committed to other major projects, including 'Spider-Man 4' and Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey.'
