Cruise has recently formed a 'strategic partnership' with Warner Bros. to develop original and franchise-friendly projects.
Despite tensions with Paramount, the studio is reportedly in active development with Cruise on 'Top Gun 3'.
Cruise also has a space-set thriller in the works with Universal Pictures, which will reportedly cost $200 million and involve Cruise performing an actual spacewalk.
