Tom Cruise Teams Up with Alejandro G. Iñárritu for 2026 Film Release

Warner Bros. has announced an October 2, 2026, release date for an untitled film directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu and starring Tom Cruise.
The film follows the world's most powerful man on a mission to prove himself as humanity's savior while grappling with a disaster of his own making.
This marks Iñárritu's first English-language film since 'The Revenant' and reunites him with 'Birdman' co-writers Alexander Dinelaris and Nicolas Giacobone, with Sabina Berman also contributing to the screenplay.
The ensemble cast includes Sandra Hüller, John Goodman, Michael Stuhlbarg, Jesse Plemons, Sophie Wilde, and Riz Ahmed alongside Cruise.
Warner Bros. also announced shifts in release dates for other major films, including 'The Batman 2' moving to October 1, 2027, and Bong Joon-ho's 'Mickey 17' now set for March 7, 2025.
