Tom Brady, Aaron Judge, Jayson Tatum Grant Wishes at Event Celebrating Fanatics and Make-A-Wish Partnership

Nine children with critical illnesses meet sports stars at first event of the Official Sports Partnership between Fanatics and Make-A-Wish, with Fanatics contributing $10 million to the foundation.

  • Nine children with critical illnesses had their wishes granted at an event celebrating a new partnership between Fanatics and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Fanatics, the global sports platform, contributed $10 million to the foundation and will facilitate the foundation’s sports-related wishes.
  • The event saw retired NFL star Tom Brady spend one-on-one time with a teen named Boston, who is a fan of both the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady carried out drills and games, signed autographs, and offered words of encouragement to all participating children.
  • Yankees star Aaron Judge and Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum also participated in the event, contributing to the fulfillment of the children’s wishes.
  • Fanatics will become the “official sports partner” of Make-A-Wish, covering sports-related wishes in the U.S. and Canada, from meet-and-greets to event hospitality and providing licensed merchandise. The partnership is expected to be beneficial for both parties, with Fanatics expanding its corporate social responsibility while utilizing its impressive network of sports ties.
  • Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin and Chief People Officer, Orlando Ashford, who is also joining the Make-A-Wish board, expressed their motivation to give back to the community and contribute to these transformative experiences for children with critical illnesses. The partnership is expected to offer Fanatics employees opportunities to contribute to wishes throughout the year.
