Overview
- The Leagues Cup final between Toluca and Monterrey kicks off Sunday, September 6 at 9:15 p.m. ET at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston.
- U.S. viewers can only watch the match via Apple TV because there is no live TV broadcast, and new subscribers can use a seven‑day free trial before the $12.99 monthly fee.
- Both clubs already qualified for next season's CONCACAF Champions Cup by reaching the final, with the champion moving into the tournament's second round and the runner‑up entering in the first round.
- Toluca reached the final after a 2–0 semifinal win over Club León while Monterrey advanced by beating Club América on penalties, and both earlier won quarterfinal matches to reach this stage.
- This edition’s final reflects a shift in the tournament: all four semifinalists were Liga MX teams, reversing the recent run of MLS dominance in the Leagues Cup.
