Overview

  • The 66.916 km four-lane Greenfield Bandikui Spur launched its toll-free, 10-day trial on July 3 with a maximum speed limit of 120 km/h.
  • The new link features four operational interchanges at Bhedoli, Khurikurd, Sundarpura and Geela ki Nangal, along with slip lanes and a cloverleaf ramp for direct DelhiMumbai Expressway access.
  • Officials estimate the route will reduce JaipurDelhi travel to 3–3.5 hours and cut the trip to the DND Flyway entry to around 2.5 hours.
  • NHAI is completing final quality and safety inspections and awaiting Ministry of Road Transport and Highways approval before scheduling the formal inauguration and toll collection.
  • Built at a cost of ₹2,016 crore, the spur is expected to ease congestion on NH-48 and NH-21, boost logistics efficiency and support regional tourism.
