• Tokyu says a local service from Chuo-Rinkan to Shibuya made contact with a stationary out-of-service train at Kajigaya Station around 11:05 p.m. on Oct. 5.
• The lead car of the out-of-service 10-car train derailed after the contact with the in-service 10-car train.
• No injuries were reported among passengers or crew, according to Tokyu Corporation.
• Kanagawa Prefectural Police began investigating after a 110 call from Tokyu around 11:50 p.m., and the operator is conducting its own inquiry.
• All Den-en-toshi Line operations between Shibuya and Chuo-Rinkan are suspended with no set time for resumption.
