• The Tokyo Odaiba Triennale set for October–December 2025 was canceled in February after Fuji Television withdrew citing difficulties securing sponsorship following misconduct allegations against Masahiro Nakai.
• The Triennale’s executive committee formally dissolved in June, closing the project after co-organizers deemed further preparation unfeasible.
• The Tokyo International Art Festival will launch next autumn, linking exhibitions and performances across city venues from October to December.
