Todd Menegaldo Arrested in Connection with Melbourne CBD Death

The fugitive was apprehended nearly three weeks after the fatal assault of Andrew Truman, a beloved member of the LGBTQIAP+ community.

Todd Menegaldo, 33, was arrested at a boarding house in Moonee Ponds by fugitive squad detectives.
Andrew Truman, 44, died in hospital from a serious brain injury after being struck on October 9.
Police believe the attack was targeted and that Menegaldo and Truman were known to each other.
Truman was remembered as a vibrant and independent man, and a passionate supporter of the LGBTQIAP+ community.
