Toby Keith Provides Health Update During First TV Performance Since Cancer Diagnosis

Toby Keith was diagnosed with stomach cancer in fall 2021 and has undergone treatment including chemo, radiation, and surgery.
He received the inaugural Country Icon Award at the 2023 People's Choice Country Awards and performed his song "Don't Let the Old Man In."
Keith said his health journey has been a "roller coaster" but he's feeling positive and grateful for the support.
The tumor has shrunk in size according to a June update and Keith hopes to return to touring if his health continues improving.
Keith thanked his fans, family, and team for their support throughout his 30-year career in an emotional acceptance speech.
