- Dorzon was shot 11 times on Nov. 5, 2024, outside his Hyattsville, Md., home during a robbery in which his girlfriend, Crystal Swan, was also wounded, and both survived.
- The attackers took an Audemars Piguet watch, a diamond necklace, and other items valued at about $100,000, with five suspects fleeing in a stolen car, according to charging documents.
- Authorities charged 21-year-old Devin Demetrius Spivey with 18 counts including attempted first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, armed robbery, and stalking, and he has pleaded not guilty.
- Spivey’s attorney says the investigation continues with other suspects still at large, and the trial is scheduled to begin Dec. 5.
