- TNPSC published the Group 4 results and merit list on October 22, and candidates listed advance to the document verification stage.

- The recruitment targets about 3,934–3,935 vacancies across roles including VAO, Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno-Typist, Bill Collector, and Forest Guard, with media reporting roughly 13.89 lakh applicants and about 11.48 lakh test-takers.
- The written exam was held on July 12 with 200 objective questions across Tamil (100), General Studies (75), and Aptitude and Mental Ability (25), followed by a provisional answer key on July 21 and an objection window through July 28.
- Candidates can view marks and rank position at tnpsc.gov.in by opening the Group 4 result link and logging in with application number and date of birth, and category-wise cut-offs accompany the results or will be issued by the commission.
