- Candidates have until August 9 to submit their college and course preferences ahead of tentative allotments on August 10 requiring same-day confirmation
- Directorate of Technical Education officials are reallocating at least 36 students after they were provisionally allotted to five colleges showing zero seat availability in Round 2
- Single-round vocational stream counselling is set for August 14–16 and supplementary rounds for general and SCA/SC candidates will take place from August 21–26
- Anna University’s constituent colleges plan to start classes on August 11 and affiliated engineering campuses will begin on August 18
