Overview
- The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board posted the provisional answer key and master question papers on Thursday, July 16, on trb.tn.gov.in where candidates can view and download them with their login credentials.
- Candidates may file objections only through the Candidate Dashboard's Objection Tracker and must upload documentary proof taken from standard textbooks before the July 22 deadline.
- The provisional keys cover Paper 1 (all subjects) and Paper 2 subjects including Mathematics & Science and Social Science, allowing test-takers to estimate likely marks using the tentative answers.
- The TN TET 2026 was held in OMR mode on July 4–5 with reported participation of 61,386 candidates for Paper 1 and 167,743 for Paper 2 across state exam centres.
- After the July 22 cutoff the board will review submitted challenges, publish a final answer key and then declare results, a sequence that will determine candidates' formal eligibility for teaching roles and any subsequent hiring rounds.
