'TMNT: Mutant Mayhem 2' to Feature Shredder as Main Villain

Director Jeff Rowe promises a character '100 times scarier' than the first film's antagonist, Superfly.

Director Jeff Rowe has revealed that Shredder, the villain in the upcoming sequel to 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem', will be '100 times scarier' than Superfly, the antagonist of the first film.
Rowe compared the decision to introduce Shredder in the sequel to the strategy used in Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' trilogy, where the Joker was saved for the second film.
Rowe has previously alluded to Shredder being the villain in the sequel, comparing him to the Joker as an iconic, classic, and loved character.
The first 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem' film is now available on DVD, 4K, Blu-ray and streaming from Amazon Prime.
The sequel has been officially greenlit, but does not currently have a release date.
