Titans Seek New Head Coach, Request Interview with Raiders' Antonio Pierce

Search for new leadership follows firing of former coach Mike Vrabel after six seasons and a disappointing record.

Antonio Pierce, interim coach for the Las Vegas Raiders, has been requested for an interview by the Tennessee Titans as they search for a new head coach.
Mike Vrabel, the former head coach of the Titans, was fired after six seasons and a record of 56-48, with a particularly poor performance in his last 24 games.
The Titans have also requested interviews with Dallas defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.
The Raiders finished their season with a record of 8-9, improving to 5-4 after Pierce replaced Josh McDaniels midseason.
Both the Titans and the Raiders are also in the process of hiring new general managers, with the Titans having hired their first Black general manager, Ran Carthon, last year.
