TinyCorp Launches TinyBox AI Systems with AMD and NVIDIA Options

TinyCorp has announced the availability of its TinyBox AI systems, offering options with AMD or NVIDIA hardware, starting at $15,000 and $25,000 respectively.

TinyCorp's TinyBox AI systems come with either AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards, offering up to 738 FP16 TFLOPs and 991 FP16 TFLOPs of compute performance respectively.
Despite facing issues with AMD hardware, TinyCorp has decided to offer both AMD and NVIDIA options due to a hard to find 'umr' repository that improves AMD system feasibility.
The NVIDIA option is touted for its reliability and 'it just works' nature, but comes with a $10,000 premium over the AMD version.
TinyCorp has received significant interest in the TinyBox AI systems, with 583 preorders expected to start shipping by April.
The company is also considering an Intel Arc A770-powered TinyBox prototype, but there are no immediate plans to launch it.
