Timberwolves Bring Back Prince-Inspired City Edition Jerseys and Custom Court for 2025–26

A collaboration with the Prince Estate, in partnership with Nike, anchors Minneapolis-focused tributes at Target Center.

Overview

  • The purple City Edition uniforms will debut Nov. 15 at Target Center against the Denver Nuggets and will be worn for seven home games.
  • Design elements reference Prince’s iconography, including Love Symbol–inspired numbers, a faux studded right shoulder, a paisley short vent, and “MPLS” on the shorts.
  • A custom court featuring the Love Symbol at center will be used for the themed games, with in-arena performances by artists who worked with Prince.
  • Jerseys are not yet on sale, with team officials saying retail availability will follow in the coming weeks.
  • The rollout includes giveaways and themed nights, including a Naz Reid youth jersey on Mar. 7 vs. Orlando and an Anthony Edwards bobblehead on Mar. 28 vs. Detroit, complementing the earlier return of the “Black Trees” look.
