Overview

  • Tim Paine, former Test captain, has been appointed head coach of the Australia 'A' team for the 2025 season.
  • He will direct a July series of three 50-over matches and two four-day games against Sri Lanka 'A' followed by a September-October tour of India 'A'.
  • Paine gave up his SEN radio show to dedicate his full attention to coaching responsibilities.
  • He will also continue coaching roles with the national women's side and the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League.
