Ballard is accused of using his anti-trafficking group to exploit women, with one lawsuit alleging he encouraged an employee to touch a woman sexually under false pretenses during a sting operation.
Another lawsuit alleges that a woman's eye socket was shattered during a training exercise at an OUR gym, with Ballard refusing to call an ambulance to avoid any record of the incident.
OUR is also named in the lawsuits, with allegations that the organization focused on crafting a marketable public image rather than the safety of its staff and volunteers.
Ballard, who resigned from OUR in June, denies the allegations and claims they are designed to destroy him and his work against human trafficking.
