Overview
- Shared Collections is now available globally for users 16 and older and can only be created between accounts that follow each other.
- The shared folders let people save and organize videos together with options to keep lists private to friends and family or make them public.
- TikTok also announced Shared Feeds, a paired daily selection of 15 videos generated from participants’ likes, watches and comments.
- Shared Feeds are created via a DM invite, include a space to chat, allow participants to leave at any time and surface a Shared Likes history after both have viewed all clips.
- The company says Shared Feeds will roll out globally in the coming months, and themed greeting cards for DMs are slated to arrive later this month.
