The companies frame the tie-up as strengthening domestic solar manufacturing with installer briefings set for RE+ in September.

Overview

  • EG4 will manufacture Tigo-optimized inverters and module-level power electronics in the United States alongside its own inverter line.
  • The partnership formalized on August 25 builds on devices the companies say are already certified as compatible and used together by U.S. installers.
  • Production will leverage Energy Access Innovations’ 310,000-square-foot facility in Commerce, Texas, which the company says has created more than 1,000 jobs.
  • Company leaders characterize the collaboration as supporting U.S. energy autonomy and a broader reshoring of solar electronics manufacturing.
  • Executives from both firms plan a question-and-answer session for installers at the RE+ tradeshow in Las Vegas, scheduled for September 8–11.
