Tiger Woods Returns to Golf, Plans Limited 2024 Schedule
After a successful return at the Hero World Challenge, Woods plans to play one tournament a month in 2024 to manage his recovery from multiple surgeries.
- Tiger Woods, recovering from a series of surgeries, finished 18th out of 20 players at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, his first start in over seven months.
- Woods' surgically repaired right ankle and foot, injured in a February 2021 car accident, did not trouble him during the tournament.
- Woods, who turns 48 on Dec. 30, said it still takes him about four or five hours to recover from playing a round.
- He plans to play one tournament a month in 2024, with his first start possibly at the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club outside Los Angeles in February.
- Woods' next appearance will be at the PNC Championship in mid-December, where he will play with his son, Charlie.
