Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy Launch High-Tech Indoor Golf League TGL

The innovative team-based competition featuring PGA stars begins January 7 at Florida's SoFi Center.

TGL, co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, is a new indoor golf league designed to modernize the sport with advanced simulator technology.
The league features six teams composed of 24 PGA Tour players, including stars like Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and Rickie Fowler.
Matches will combine virtual play on a 64x53-foot screen with real-life short-game action on a mechanized green area.
The inaugural season will run from January to March, with a round-robin format leading to playoffs and a three-game final, offering a total prize pool of £16.75 million.
TGL aims to attract a new audience with fast-paced gameplay, fictional course designs, and unique features like shot clocks, timeouts, and live player microphones.
