• Universal released a new teaser that includes first snippets of two film-only tracks: Cynthia Erivo’s “No Place Like Home” and Ariana Grande’s “The Girl in the Bubble,” written by Stephen Schwartz.
• Tickets are now available across premium formats including 3D, IMAX and Dolby Cinema, with the official soundtrack up for preorder and due the same day as the film.
• Early access begins Nov. 17 for Amazon Prime members, with premium-format early shows on Nov. 19, “Wicked”/“For Good” double features on Nov. 20, and the wide release on Nov. 21.
• The studio positions the finale as centered on Elphaba and Glinda’s fractured friendship shaping Oz’s fate, with a returning ensemble led by Erivo, Grande, Jonathan Bailey, Jeff Goldblum and Michelle Yeoh.
• Theatrical tie-ins include collectible popcorn buckets and tins themed to Elphaba, Glinda and the Emerald City at Regal, AMC and Cinemark locations.
