Overview
- The attack took place on June 17 outside Miers Court Primary School in Rainham when a small sandy-coloured Cockapoo lunged at three-year-old Bunnie’s arm.
- After managing to pull the dog off, its owner left without providing any contact details, forcing her father to hold the wound closed until help arrived.
- Bunnie was first treated at Medway Maritime Hospital before being transferred to St Thomas’ Hospital in Westminster for X-rays and plastic surgery.
- Her father says she is healing physically but remains shaken by the ordeal and has developed a fear of dogs.
