Three University of Wyoming Swimmers Die Colorado Highway Crash

The tragic accident occurred near the Wyoming-Colorado border, leaving two others injured.

Three University of Wyoming swimmers, Charlie Clark, Carson Muir, and Luke Slabber, were killed in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 287 in northern Colorado.
The tragic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, about 10 miles south of the Wyoming-Colorado border.
Two other members of the swimming and diving team were injured in the crash but are expected to survive with non-life-threatening injuries.
The University of Wyoming community, including President Ed Seidel and Athletics Director Tom Burman, expressed deep sorrow and offered counseling services to those affected.
The stretch of highway where the accident occurred has a notorious history of fatal crashes and is under safety review by the state transportation department.
