Three Teen Girls Charged in Violent Surrey Transit Attacks

The teens face assault charges after two separate incidents on a SkyTrain and bus in Surrey, B.C.

Three teenage girls, aged 13, 15, and 17, have been charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The first incident occurred on July 11 aboard a SkyTrain when a 16-year-old student was attacked.
The second attack took place hours later on a bus, targeting an 18-year-old woman after a verbal exchange.
Both victims were punched and kicked, with one having her hair dragged and the other having clumps of hair pulled out.
Police commend the intervention of passengers and SkyTrain attendants who assisted the victims.
