Three South Dakota Men Sentenced for Illegal Firearm Possession

- Robert W. Blakey, 57, of Centerville, was sentenced to nearly two years in federal prison for possessing a firearm with eight prior felony convictions.
- All three cases were part of the Project Safe Neighborhoods program, aimed at reducing violent crime through a collaborative community effort.
- The sentences were handed down by U.S. District Judge Karen E. Schreier and included supervised release and a special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.
