Overview

• The victims—35-year-old dhaba owner Siddarodh Tugudi, his 28-year-old nephew Jagadish Belamagi, and 40-year-old employee Ramanna Bhosga—were attacked just before 1 a.m. on June 25 at the Driver Dhaba in Pattan village.
• Police Commissioner Sharnappa S. Dhage linked the killings to a cycle of revenge after Tugudi and his brothers murdered history-sheeter Somu Talikoti in November over a financial dispute.
• Investigators have detained seven suspects and are analyzing CCTV footage recovered from a petrol bunk adjacent to the dhaba to identify additional assailants.
